Responsibilities:

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with both retail and wholesale customers
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current customers
Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on the features and benefits of our products
Meet and exceed sales targets set by the company
Prepare and present sales reports to management
Attend trade shows and other sales events to promote our products
Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:

Proven sales experience, with a track record of exceeding sales targets

Ability to understand and articulate complex product information
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to travel regularly for sales calls and events
Candidates with experience in the candle industry or related products are preferred

We are seeking a skilled and creative Candle Maker (Chandler) to join our team at Forest City Candles. As a Chandler, you will be responsible for handcrafting high-quality candles using various waxes, fragrances, and wicks. You will play a crucial role in the creation of our products and contribute to the overall success of our company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and mix wax, fragrance oils, and dyes to create a wide range of candle scents and colors
Pour and finish candles, ensuring consistent quality and appearance
Follow established recipes and procedures to produce candles in large quantities
Maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow proper safety procedures while handling hot wax and other materials
Assist in the development of new candle scents and designs
Communicate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient production process
Assist with packaging and labeling of finished candles for shipment
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chandler or similar role
Strong knowledge of candle-making techniques and materials
Ability to work with a variety of waxes, fragrances, and dyes
Ability to understand and follow established recipes and procedures
Attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Good organizational and time management skills
